In this notice, "we" and "the restaurant" mean Grupo Mada and its restaurants Los Cabrones, Rincón Campestre and Curanto. "The app" means the Android app Mada Mesa.
What this notice covers
It explains what the app does with the information you type into it, and what happens when you choose to email or call.
The group planner on the website follows the same notice at privacy-policy/index.html.
Information you enter
A plan can contain a title, the restaurant, the number of adults and children, dishes and quantities, needs such as vegetarian guests or a seafood allergy, a preferred day and time, the occasion, a budget, notes and your reply details (name, phone, email).
Please write only what the kitchen needs. A short note such as "one guest allergic to seafood" is enough; do not write medical details.
Where your plans are stored
Plans are stored in a private database inside the app on your phone. The app keeps one working draft so that unsaved changes survive closing the app.
Other apps cannot read this database.
No account, no cloud copy
There is no sign-in and no account. The app does not upload plans to the restaurant or to any server.
Android backup and device-to-device transfer are turned off for the app’s data.
What the app does not collect
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, advertising identifiers or usage analytics, and it shows no ads.
Network access
The app has no internet permission. Menus, prices, images and this notice are bundled inside the app.
Sending a plan by email
When you tap "Open email app", the app first shows you the recipient, subject and text. Your email app then opens with that message. Nothing is sent until you press send there.
Your email provider handles the message under its own terms.
Calling the restaurant
"Call" opens your phone app with the restaurant group’s number. The app does not place the call, record it or read your call history.
Copying a plan
If you copy a plan, its text goes to your phone’s clipboard, marked as sensitive where Android supports it. Apps you paste into can read what you paste.
How the restaurant uses messages you send
If you send a plan, the restaurant uses it to answer you, confirm availability and prepare your meal. It does not use it for advertising.
Messages are kept only as long as needed to attend you and to meet legal duties.
Your choices
You can edit, duplicate or delete any plan at any time. Deleting removes it from the app on this phone.
Uninstalling the app removes all plans and the working draft.
How long information is kept
Plans stay on your phone until you delete them or uninstall the app. Messages you sent stay in your email app and with the restaurant until deleted there.
Security
Plans are protected by Android’s app sandbox and your phone’s screen lock. Keep your phone locked if others use it.
Children
The app is meant for adults organising a meal. Children are counted only as a number of guests; no child’s details are needed.
Your rights
Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012) you can ask the restaurant group to know, update, correct or delete personal information it holds about you, and to revoke your authorisation. Write to manuel-alejandro-95@hotmail.com.
Information stored only on your phone is under your control in the app.
Changes to this notice
If the app changes how it handles information, this notice will be updated with a new effective date in a new app version and on the website.
